Beautiful Farewell Album
Last Time Around
1960s spirit cool hippies rock songs. A bit of folk, blues, country, and rock music.
It is Buffalo Springfield's third and last studio album which they made because of contractual obligations to the record company. Buffalo Springfield were a dysfunctional band while recording this album as each band member was already focused on his next step – Neil Young on a solo career and Stephen Stills went on to form the super-group Crosby, stills & Nash with David Crosby from the Byrds and Graham Nash of The Hollies. The five original band members recorded together only one song, “On The Way Home”.
Rolling Stone magazine wrote it is Buffalo Springfield's "most beautiful record".

With a name taken from a brand of steamroller (a machine used for leveling surfaces, such as roads and airfields) the band formed in Los Angeles in 1966 by Stephen Stills (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Dewey Martin (drums, vocals), Bruce Palmer (bass), Richie Furay (guitar, vocals) and Neil Young (guitar, harmonica, vocals, piano).
